Church Officers - Vice Moderator

The position of Vice Moderator is specified in Article VI Section C of the by-laws of the Congregational Church of New Fairfield. The Vice Moderator is elected at the May quarterly meeting of the church. He or she presides over all duly called meetings of the church and Executive Committee in the absense of the Moderator. He or she conducts all meetings according to Robert's Rules of Order. The term is for one year with the individual serving a total of three consecutive terms following which he or she shall be ineligible to be elected Moderator for a period of one year.
